Millennia ago, the land of Skittalia was formed. The Red Skittle was declared King, and he has ruled since. The Blue Skittle, unhappy with this decision tried to usurp the throne, but was outcast for his treacherous ways!
Later, in the year 2011, the Blue Skittle decided to make a comeback. He planned once again to overthrow the Skittle King, but decided to gain the trust of the Skittle people first. Fortunately the King heard of the traitor’s plans, and once again cast him from the land, although this time ensuring he would not return.
And that is the reason why a blue skittle was added, before being removed shortly after.
Seeing as Hufflepuffs are loyal, I think they should change their symbol to a Golden Retriever :P
